There are a lot of different options. Depending on the season you can dive into the region's famous wine culture, maybe set the pottery wheel spinning or create your own Portuguse azulejo tile. In summer you might have the chance of witnessing the harvesting of cork.
You'll appreciate that these personalised activities require some advance notice; the more time we have the easier it is for us to realise your ideas. A close encounter with a culture and its people also means adapting a little to the local pace of life - this often results in the most memorable experiences!
With the fishing boat out to sea

enjoy, go out to sea from Milfontes - in a real fishing boat.
From the mouth of the Rio Mira to the lighthouse of Cabo Sardão, famous for the storks that nest on its cliffs here.
This excursion, on which you might see dolphins when there is no wind, is also only possible for groups with an early reservation.
