The longest and most demanding tour starts at the abandoned river port near São Luis and ends at the town of Odemira. On the way you will experience the change in the salt water zone to increasingly "sweeter" water, which also affects the vegetation. The former rice fields are now grazed by cows.

There are hardly any places to get off along the 18 km route. Therefore, this tour is not recommended for beginners and children under the age of seven.

Experienced paddlers are rewarded with a few hours in absolute silence and solitude. On the way you might meet an angler or an oyster farmer.

Depending on the strength of the helping wind, you will reach Odemira, where you previously parked your car, after about four hours.
